KJP matching funding for the German-Turkish Youth Bridge will continue in 2026

In 2025, organisations planning a youth or professional exchange with a Turkish partner organisation were able to apply for additional funding from the German-Turkish Youth Bridge (DTJB) during the year. The aim was to specifically increase funding for German-Turkish youth exchanges from the Federal Government's Child and Youth Plan (KJP).

The DTJB covers costs that are not covered by the KJP, such as travel costs to Germany or accommodation costs in Turkey. In order to be eligible for KJP matching funding, you must have been granted KJP funding. In a second step, an application for supplementary funding can be submitted after counselling by the DTJB.
