The Alliance for Public Benefit has fundamentally revised its external image in order to act more visibly and effectively as a representative of the interests of civil society organisations. A new Memorandum of Understanding was adopted and signed by the group of sponsors.

At the same time, the alliance is presenting a short paper with proposals for simplifying and modernising funding and budget law. Among other things, it calls for more partnership-based funding practices, more flexible funding models and simplified administration. The aim is to strengthen commitment and sustainably improve the framework conditions for non-profit organisations.

The Bundesjugendring is actively contributing its positions to political discussions. A more detailed long version will follow shortly.
