Main Outcomes of the EU Youth Conference

At the EU Youth Conference 200 participants explored, discussed and worked on the topics youth, democracy and participation and developed ideas and demands on how the Youth Goal #9 “Space and Participation for All” could be realised. In the end, seven political demands were formulated, one for each Target of Youth Goal #9. These can be found in the “Main Outcomes”.

The document “Main Outcomes” focusses on the outcomes and the political demands resulting from the seven Working Groups on Targets, which took place at the end of the EU Youth Conference and can therefore be considered as part of its main outcomes. It includes all the main discussion points that lead to the formulation of the demands. The document was already shared with the Youth Working Party of the Council of the EU and Ministers to provide them with concise information.

The publication is based on the work of the Harvesting Team. It was edited by the German Federal Youth Council (DBJR) in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth and passed on to the political decision-makers at the highest level.

The “Main Outcomes” is not the only publication on the EU Youth Conference and its outcomes. You will find an overview of all publications on this page: https://go.dbjr.de/euyc-harvesting
