Stakeholder meeting on the EU Youth Strategy in the European Parliament

On 11 November 2025, the European Parliament's Committee on Culture and Education (CULT) held an in-depth discussion on the implementation of the EU Youth Strategy 2019-2027. The aim of the format, which was organised for the first time in this context, was to pool practical experience, highlight the needs of young people and provide impetus for further parliamentary work.

The session was opened by Sabrina Repp (S&D), rapporteur of the European Parliament. Ten representatives of young people - from national and European youth organisations as well as from individual perspectives - contributed their experiences and assessments to the discussion.

The experts who spoke were:

  10. Melanie Schütz (German Federal Youth Council)

This was followed by a question and answer session with the rapporteur, the shadow rapporteursand representativesof the co-rapporteur committees EMPL (Employment & Social Affairs) and SANT (Health).
